A dorm room on the first floor of E2, located at 70 Amherst Street was burglarized on November 10, 2018 at around 9:30PM.
October 11, 2018
A motorcycle was stolen from an area outside the Stata garage sometime between 5:30 PM and 9:45 PM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
October 2, 2018
A dorm room on an upper floor of New House, Building W70, which is located at 471-476 Memorial Drive, was burglarized on October 2, 2018 between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
September 27, 2018
On September 27, 2018, MIT Police responded to a past burglary at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, which is located at 119 Bay State Road in Boston. Residents reported that two bicycles were stolen from the rear basement bike storage area sometime between September 26, 2018 at 4:00PM and September 27, 2018 at 11:30AM. There were no signs of forced entry to the doorway of this location. The door bolt may have been unsecured during the time of the burglary. The incident was reported to the MIT Police this evening.
September 5, 2018
Two separate dorm rooms on an upper floor of New House/W70, located at 471 Memorial Drive were burglarized on September 3, 2018 sometime between 12AM and 2PM. A laptop was stolen from one room and a wallet was stolen from another. The doors to each room were unlocked at the time of the thefts.
August 30, 2018
On August 30, 2018 at around 6:55 PM, an employee reported that an office on an upper floor in Building E19, which is located at 400 Main Street, Cambridge, was burglarized sometime between August 29 at 6:30 PM and August 30 at 9:00 AM. Multiple items, including two laptops and jewelry, have been reported stolen. No signs of forced entry were noted to the locked area at this time.

MIT Police is currently working with Massachusetts State Police on an investigation into gunshots fired in the vicinity of 400 Memorial Drive, apparently during the early morning hours of August 28, 2018. No injuries have been reported and there are no known direct threats

A dorm room in an upper floor of the Burton Conner dorm, located at 410 Memorial Drive was burglarized on August 24, 2018 sometime between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. A laptop was stolen. The door to the room was unlocked at the time of the theft.

Sigma Chi fraternity, which is located at 532 Beacon Street, Boston was burglarized on August 19, 2018 between approximately 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
