Multiple offices on an upper floor in Building E25, which is located at 45 Carleton Street, were burglarized sometime between May 16 at 11:00PM and May 17 at 7:00AM.
A motor scooter was stolen from an unsecured bike cage at Baker House, located at 362 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, sometime on Monday, May 14, 2018 between 3:00PM and 7:00PM.
Two dorm rooms on an upper floor of Green Hall, Building W5, which is located at 350 Memorial Drive, were burglarized sometime on Saturday, May 5, 2018 between 7:30PM and 11:15PM.

The MIT Police have been made aware of recent scam incidents. The first is tax-related phone scams and the second is an online apartment rental scam. These scams are not
unique to MIT, they happen everywhere, and we don’t want you to fall victim to these callous scams.
The MIT Police Department was notified by the Cambridge Police Department on April 18, 2018 of a robbery which occurred on Monday, April 16, 2018 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The victim was walking on Landsdowne Street, heading towards Massachusetts Ave. As the victim came to the intersection at Green Street, he was suddenly approached by three individuals who became aggressive towards him and began shouting “rude things” at him. The victim was then punched on the side of the head, knocking him to the ground. While on the ground, they began to kick him and stole his key, bank card, and MBTA pass. These items were later recovered a short distance away and returned to the victim. The victim was treated for his injuries. The victim is not affiliated with MIT.

Incident: The MIT Police were notified on April 9, 2018 of a fondling incident that occurred Saturday, April 7, 2018 at an On-Campus Residence Hall on the east side of campus. The victim/survivor reported he was assaulted by a male, who was a guest at the time of the attack.
The MIT Police received a notification by the Cambridge Police Department on April 9, 2018 of a robbery that occurred on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at approximately 12:30 PM. The victim withdrew money from the ATM at the 7-11 on the corner of Main Street and Portland Street. As she proceeded in the direction of Central Square, an unknown person walked past her and then approached her from behind. As she attempted to put the money in her purse, the male grabbed the money and attempted to steal her purse. He was unable to obtain the purse, but took the money and fled in the direction of Kendall Square.
A dorm room on an upper floor of the Maseeh Hall dormitory was burglarized on February 11, 2018 between the hours of 2:30 AM and 4:05 AM.
An office located on the third floor in Building 3, which is located at 33 Massachusetts Avenue, was burglarized sometime on January 9, 2018 between noon and 1:45 p.m.
An unknown male was reported entering residents dorm rooms of East Campus, a residence hall, located at 62 Ames St./Building 62, between Monday, November 13 at 11:00 AM to 11:45AM. Additional reports of larceny occurred on today, Wednesday, Nov. 15, between 2:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
The MIT Police are working in conjunction with other local police agencies regarding a woman who reported being sexually assaulted at the Sigma Chi fraternity at 532 Beacon Street, Boston, MA between the hours of 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM on October 15, 2017.
An unknown person was reported entering a resident’s dorm room on the 6th floor of Maseeh Hall, a residence hall, located at 305 Memorial Drive/Building W1, at approximately 4:50 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
August 29, 2017 UPDATE - Suspicious Person and Breaking & Entering
Further information regarding the suspect’s actions have been obtained through MIT Police Special Service investigation.
A suspicious person, described by the resident to be about 25 years of age, was reported being in her room at East Campus, a residence hall, Building 64, which is located at 21 Ames Street, at approximately 4:30AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
Nu Delta fraternity, which is located at 460 Beacon Street, Boston was burglarized at approximately 11:30AM on Sunday, August 27, 2017.
Sigma Chi fraternity, which is located at 532 Beacon Street, Boston was burglarized on Monday, August 28, 2017 sometime between 1:30AM and 8:40AM.
Theta Chi fraternity, which is located at 528 Beacon Street, Boston was burglarized on Monday, July 17, 2017 at approximately 6:15 AM.
